Through inclusive programs, purposeful events, and quality Raleigh-branded merchandise, RWU bridges several gaps in key areas including workforce development and venture building, employment creation and crime prevention, professional networking, and community engagement.

Our Story

The journey of founding Raleigh With Us (RWU) is deeply personal to our Co-Founder, shaped by three of his key experiences that inspired our mission of connection, empowerment, and community pride. During his decade in Baltimore, he worked on mentorship programs that helped high school students prepare for careers in the 21st-century workforce. That experience taught him the power of equipping people with tools and guidance to succeed.When he moved to Raleigh in 2019, he saw a city thriving with economic growth and a diverse workforce. However, this growth brought challenges - competition between highly qualified transplants and native residents with fewer resources. At the same time, he noticed Raleigh’s resourceful professionals and entrepreneurs were eager to network and collaborate but lacked a structured platform to do so. Adding to this, his passion for representing cities through branded merchandise revealed a gap - Raleigh didn’t have the kind of items that allowed people to showcase their pride.These experiences sparked the vision for Raleigh With Us. RWU is a platform where we equip residents with skills for success, create meaningful connections among Raleigh’s professionals, and celebrate our city’s unique identity through branded merchandise that gives back to the community. For us, RWU is about building a Raleigh where everyone feels they belong, and we are proud to bring this vision to life!
