Leadership with purpose defines Alexis Cash’s journey. A Durham native and global leader in employee experience, Alexis is passionate about creating workplaces where people feel supported, included, and empowered to thrive. Through both her corporate leadership and community initiatives, she continues to champion inclusion, mentorship, and meaningful connection across the Triangle and beyond.

Background & Bio :

After a decade in sales, Alexis pursued a Master’s degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology at Harvard University to better understand how workplace culture shapes employee experiences. Today, she leads Employee Experience at Lenovo, supporting global initiatives focused on engagement, inclusion, and workplace culture. She is also Co-Founder of Black Lit RDU, a book community that brings Black professionals across the Triangle together through literature, conversation, and shared learning.

Harvard University Graduate with a Master’s in Industrial-Organizational Psychology.

Mentor dedicated to empowering women in male-dominated fields, promoting their professional growth and increasing their visibility.

Community Impact :

Giving back is central to Alexis’s work and identity. She mentors women navigating careers in male-dominated industries and actively supports initiatives that promote leadership and opportunity. A proud North Carolina A&T State University alumna, she also remains connected to her alma mater through mentorship, partnerships, and recruiting the next generation of talent. Outside of work, Alexis enjoys traveling and exploring new cultures, having visited 21 countries and counting.
